Supersonico

Supersonico is a purely photographic, visual, authorial project of editor Lucie Černá and photographer Libuše Jarcovjáková. Her raw, unsharp black and white analogue images are mixed with colour digital cluster of data and photographs taken with a mobile phone. The richness and diversity of the material, unrelated at a cursory glance, is a visual pilgrimage. An excursion into the world of the artist's imagination, which was hidden until recently.

The book contains 100 colour and black and white photographs from the 1990s to 2022.

Supersonico is not only a book revealing other layers of Jarcovjáková's work; Supersonico completes the idea of who the photographer Libuše Jarcovjáková is. A perceptive observer of her immediate surroundings, of consciously unconscious processes and the atmosphere of the moment.
